GEUS led a field workshop to the Gardar Province for the Horizon 2020-funded project HiTech AlkCarb between 22 June and 6 July 2017. The 12-strong team was based on the ship Kisaq and visited a range of localities in South Greenland to better understand the mineralising systems for hi-tech elements (REE, Sc, Nb, Ta, Zr, Hf, F) in alkaline and carbonatite rocks.
