Examples of arctic projects:
2017 Capelin larvae drift between Iceland and eastern Greenland.
Investigating if oceanographic events can explain year to year variations in recruitment of East Greenland capelin approx. 1990 - 2015. Using ABM and historic hydrodynamic data. Client: Greenland Institute of Natural Resources
2017 Halibut migration off West Greenland
A study aiming at linking Greenland halibut migration data (from tagging and recapture surveys) to oceanographic processes using hydrodynamic and agent-based modelling techniques. Client: Greenland Research Council.
2015 MARAMBS –Marine mammals and seabirds migration modelling, Norway
A research and development project aiming at developing new methodologies for environmental impact assessment in relation to oil spill events with particular focus on marine mammals and seabirds (e.g. Brünnich's guillemot, Little Auk, Harbseal, Humpback whale). Client: Statoil.
